When I got my job yesterday, after five or six months of applications, interviews and the ensuing disappointments, I was elated, frantically emailing around, texting friends and phoning family to let them know. And it was great to get so many enthusiastic responses back. I even got a phone call from Mississippi, and she sounded more excited than I did.
It's great to have friends with whom to share those "gracious moments of joy".
